It all started with story times.
About 8 years ago I met another mom who had two littles. I had one of my own, with another on the way, and we became fast friends at a mommy group.
My mom friend became interested in illustrating children’s books. She took art classes, joined SCBWI, and even had a new group of friends. Honestly, I felt a bit left out, because I couldn’t write or draw to save my life, and I wanted to be a part of this community. I even tagged along to various story times despite my children being too old.
During some of those story times, I drummed up conversations and often heard about how frustrating marketing was for these authors and illustrators.
And that’s when it hit me.
I found my way to be a part of the KidLit community!
I have a background in marketing, and I knew I could take the strategies I had used in other industries and apply them to the children’s lit world. I could help these talented, passionate authors and illustrators build audiences and reach more people with their books.
I turned those story times into a new opportunity, and Tiny Triumph Co. was born.
Now I combine my 10+ years in corporate marketing and sales with my passion for KidLit to help traditionally published authors and illustrators build personal brands that help them sell more books, land more lucrative opportunities, and create new levels of success for their businesses.
